Peer-review process

The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, in which anonymity is maintained for both authors and reviewers. This approach ensures objectivity, impartiality, and academic integrity in the manuscript evaluation process.

Selection of Reviewers

Manuscripts are reviewed by independent experts holding an academic degree and possessing relevant expertise in the subject area of the submitted work. Reviewers must have no conflict of interest with the authors. Preference is given to specialists with a proven publication record in the relevant field, research experience, and prior peer-review practice in scholarly journals.

Manuscript Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers assess submitted manuscripts based on the following main criteria:
– scientific originality and relevance of the research;
– theoretical and methodological soundness;
– clarity, coherence, and logical structure of the presentation;
– validity and reliability of research results;
– compliance with ethical standards of scientific research;
– contribution to the development of the respective academic field.

Review Timeline

The standard review period is 3–4 weeks from the date the manuscript is assigned to a reviewer. If necessary, this period may be extended upon agreement with the editorial board.

Review Format and Documentation

Peer review is conducted in written form using a standardized review form, which includes an evaluation of the manuscript along with reasoned comments and recommendations. All reviews are stored in the editorial system and treated as confidential documents.

Editorial Decision-Making

Decisions regarding publication are made by the editorial board based on the peer review reports. Possible decisions include:
– acceptance for publication;
– acceptance with revisions;
– resubmission for further review after substantial revisions;
– rejection.

In cases of conflicting reviewer recommendations, the editorial board may appoint an additional expert reviewer. The final decision is made by the editorial board based on all reviews and the overall scientific quality of the manuscript.

The journal ensures transparency, objectivity, and compliance with international peer-review standards in accordance with COPE guidelines and other leading publishing ethics organizations.
