TRANSFORMATION OF THE GENDER PARADIGM OF SCHOOLING IN UKRAINE AND AUSTRIA: HISTORICAL AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS (SECOND HALF OF THE XXTH – BEGINNING OF THE XXITH CENTURIES)

The article presents the results of a historical and comparative analysis of the transformation of the gender paradigm of the school education system of Ukraine and Austria during the second half of the XXth – beginning of the XXIth centuries. It is traced the peculiarities of the genesis of gender education of student youth as a pedagogical phenomenon in the context of socio-political and historical changes, as well as educational reforms in both countries. The legal acts of Ukraine and Austria, which ensure the implementation of gender approaches in school education, including state educational standards, international documents and recommendations of the ministries of education, are studied. The specifics of the implementation of gender-sensitive approaches in the content of school education, the structure of curricula and textbooks, and professional training of teachers in these countries are studied.
