Abstract

In the article, the author reveals the issue of forming the professional image of a future preschool teacher in the process of training at a higher education institution. It is proven that the professional image of a teacher affects his professional development and is an important factor in a successful career. It is revealed that the professional image of a preschool teacher consists of visual, behavioral, verbal, personal, socio-psychological, kinetic components. One of the current problems of organizing the educational process in higher education is ensuring the process of self-projection of the professional image of a teacher as an affirmation of the uniqueness of the subject and presentation, which ensures professional self-development of the personality and identification, and also determines the formation of the culture of the teacher’s activity. The process of self-design is characterized as a socially, personally and professionally determined project activity of future preschool education specialists, aimed at the effective implementation of professional activities, mastering design technologies and solving professional tasks in the process of implementing professional self-development strategies. The features of self-design as a means of forming a teacher’s professional image are determined. It is proposed to systematize the content of the process of forming the professional image of students in the process of self-design according to the modular principle. It is proved that a special role in the process of self-design of the professional image of a future preschool teacher belongs to reflection, thanks to which the teacher receives information about the personal characteristics that occur in the student’s mind, that is, the process of self-reflection. The pedagogical tools used in the process of self-designing the professional image of a future educator are systematized. The educator is a key figure in ensuring a highquality system of preschool education. In a rapidly changing educational environment, the main professional quality of a teacher, which he must constantly demonstrate to his own pupils, is the ability to constantly learn and improve.
