SOCIALY EXCLUDED YOUTH AS A CATEGORY OF PEDAGOGY

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the concept of exclusion, which is generating increasing interest in contemporary domestic and foreign scientific literature. It emphasizes the urgent importance of researching social exclusion in accordance with the stages of development and socio-economic transformations of society. It has been determined that the phenomenon of social exclusion represents a complex and multi-dimensional social phenomenon that varies in the context of modern socio-economic transformations. A theoretical overview of concepts dedicated to studying the factors of exclusion and its interconnection with categories of the population is presented. It has been proven that the process of social exclusion occurs gradually, under the influence of external and internal factors. The article summarizes scientific approaches to defining socially excluded youth. It has been researched that youth at risk of social exclusion face a complex of barriers that mutually reinforce one another. A comparative analysis of approaches to identifying socially excluded youth has been conducted. Biological, social and individual characteristics of socially excluded youth have been proposed.Emphasis is placed on representatives of socially excluded youth according to defined characteristics. A review of scientific works shows that researchers have not reached a common understanding regarding the factors of social exclusion of youth and their classification. To effectively address interactions with socially excluded youth, it is important to understand the nature of their origin, the availability of resources and opportunities.The study examines the need for approaches regarding the prospects of their study. Directions for further research are outlined.
