The article analyzes the necessity of studying the basics of management psychology and conflictology by students in the biological field of education. Biologists often work in scientific groups, laboratories, or field expeditions, present their research, communicate with colleagues, and engage resources for projects; they may be involved in environmental programs, educational activities, or nature conservation policies. Moreover, biology frequently involves ethical dilemmas (for example, regarding the use of animals in research or genetic modifications). Therefore, understanding the psychological aspects of conflict management, the ability to manage interpersonal relationships, and handle conflicts can help establish productive collaboration, motivate the team, and resolve work conflicts, effectively express ideas and persuade others, communicate efficiently with communities, resolve disputes, and foster cooperation. Knowledge of management psychology contributes to making balanced decisions and considering the interests of all parties. The ability to manage one's emotional state, cope with stress, and overcome difficulties is an important skill for any professional, especially in complex and dynamic scientific environments. Thus, knowledge of management psychology and conflictology not only expands the professional opportunities of biology students but also makes them more adaptive and successful in their careers.
