The article examines the role of personal sensitivity level in the process of social adaptation. Social adaptation is seen as the ability of an individual to successfully integrate into society, showing emotional stability, self-regulation, and flexible behavior. Sensitivity, as a psychophysiological characteristic, defines how strongly a person reacts to external stimuli. During the empirical research, differences were found between adaptive and non-adaptive individuals. The study used the Social-Psychological Adaptation Diagnostic Method by Rogers and Diamond and the Emotional Creativity Questionnaire by J. Averill. The results show that people with a high level of adaptation demonstrate emotional stability, activity in difficult situations, the ability to express emotions constructively, and creativity in problem- solving. In contrast, non-adaptive individuals tend to have anxiety, emotional instability, lower social activity, and avoid social interactions. Special attention is given to emotional creativity as a resource for overcoming adaptation difficulties. The article offers recommendations for improving social adaptation, such as developing self-regulation skills, participating in social activities, using relaxation techniques, and applying cognitive-behavioral therapy. The results highlight the importance of an individual approach to developing adaptation resources, especially when working with youth and people with high sensitivity.
