Open access and archiving policy

Open Access Policy

The journal adheres to the principles of Open Access, ensuring free and permanent access to all published materials without subscription fees or paywalls. This approach promotes the wide dissemination of scientific knowledge and supports international academic exchange.

All articles are published under an open access model, allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and use the full texts of publications, provided that proper attribution is given to the authors and the journal.

The journal supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and promotes free access to scientific information as an essential component of the development of science and education.

Archiving Policy

To ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content, the journal implements a reliable digital archiving system in accordance with international publishing standards.

All published articles are permanently stored in the journal’s electronic archive. Each published article:

  • is permanently available on the journal’s website without time restrictions;
  • is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring a stable and persistent link.

The journal also encourages authors to practice self-archiving (green open access), allowing permitted versions of articles to be deposited in institutional or subject repositories in accordance with licensing terms.

For long-term preservation, journal issues are archived in the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine.

In case of platform changes or system updates, the journal guarantees continued access to all previously published materials through backup copies and appropriate digital preservation mechanisms.

Open Research Data Policy (FAIR)

The journal supports the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) for research data management and promotes responsible and transparent sharing of research results.

Authors are encouraged to deposit research data in trusted repositories, provide a Data Availability Statement within their articles, and ensure compliance with ethical requirements for the protection of personal and sensitive data.
