Abstract

The article reveals the importance of children’s toys in the life of a child, their sacred meaning. Play is one of the means of child development. Only in the game does a child easily reveal his creative abilities, acquire new knowledge and consolidate skills, develop observation, imagination, motor skills, memory, learn to overcome difficulties, think, analyze. During the game, toddlers acquire useful skills, children develop spiritual abilities, various feelings awaken. Play has a huge developmental and educational value for the formation of a child and is an important moment in preparing children for independent activity. Play is a powerful means of education. It is in the game that the need of human nature is realized. Having a childhood is, first of all, having the right to develop one’s own play activity. Childhood without toys is impossible. Toys play a significant role in the development of a child, and not only entertain them. The baby’s life is filled with joy, becomes more interesting with the help of toys: motanka dolls, whistles, constructors, teddy bears and other children’s toys. The first toy of the child is a rattle. It flashes before the eyes, making sounds, which attracts the baby. Considering the first interesting thing in his life, the baby learns to concentrate attention, he has a desire to touch it, take it in his hands, shake it. This stimulates the child to work with his hands, turn to the sound, recognize the object and smile when it approaches. The main goal of parents is for the child to grow healthy, strong, agile and spiritually rich. This is exactly what a toy and a game help them with.
