The organization of educational and play activities for the preschoolers during their staying in shelters

The article analyzes the peculiarities of educational activities of preschoolers during their stay in shelters. It is explained that in the senior preschool age, the child is aware of the danger that may arise in martial law. During their stay in shelters, preschoolers experience fear and anxiety. Teachers and psychologists should create such conditions in preschool educational institutions so that children feel protected during the air raid alarm.The article describes in detail the author’s methodology of educational activities of preschoolers during their stay in shelters, based on the experiment. It is noted that according to the results of the initial diagnosis of the level of anxiety of senior preschoolers, it was found that most children had a medium or high level of anxiety (high – 46%, medium – 40%, low – 14%). In the course of the formative experiment, during their stay in the shelters, children were involved in collective games, theatrical performances, fine arts and music classes. Considerable work was done with parents, explaining to them the need to create a safe environment at home. The results of the control experiment showed that most children significantly lost their sense of fear and had a lower anxiety threshold (high – 17%, medium – 36%, low – 47%). This proves the effectiveness of the developed methodology aimed at normalizing the psychological state of senior preschoolers.
