Inclusive education, adapted for children with cerebral palsy (CP), plays an important role in their social development and integration into society. It is aimed at creating a barrier-free environment, which includes not only physical accessibility, but also the development of specially adapted educational programs that take into account the individual needs of each child. For such integration to be truly successful, an individual approach to each student is necessary, as well as constant support from assistants who help children in the educational process within the classroom. In addition, an important aspect is the formation of tolerance and mutual understanding in the student body, which contributes to the creation of a friendly and supportive environment for all participants in the process. Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive brain injury that mainly affects motor functions and coordination. However, it is important to note that the preserved intellectual potential of most children with this condition allows them to achieve academic success. This is possible thanks to appropriate adaptations and the creation of a barrier-free environment that promotes the full mastery of the school curriculum. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child clearly states that the presence of a child’s disability should not be a basis for any discrimination. On the contrary, it should be guaranteed that every child, regardless of their physical or mental health, has the right to a dignified and quality life in conditions considered normal for society. These rights, particularly those that apply to children with disabilities, ensure that they have the opportunity to receive education in an inclusive environment. Inclusive education means a comprehensive approach to ensuring equal access to high-quality education for children with special educational needs. This is achieved through their integration into general education institutions and is implemented through the use of teaching methods that focus on the individual characteristics of each child, thereby taking into account their unique educational and cognitive abilities and needs.
