Abstract

The article is devoted to the development and implementation of an extracurricular course “Phytodesign” for students of higher education institutions, which complements the academic course “Fundamentals of Arrangement”. The purpose of the work is to create an effective program that takes into account educational requirements, as well as the age and psychological characteristics of young adult students, facilitating the deepening of theoretical knowledge and the formation of practical skills in the field of phytodesign and interior composition. The proposed program combines theoretical and practical sessions, allowing for the effective development of students’ creative potential and professional competencies. The pedagogical experiment confirmed the positive impact of extracurricular activities on expanding knowledge, increasing motivation, and fostering responsibility. A significant increase in the level of creative potential among course participants indicates the effectiveness of the applied teaching methods and technologies. The scientific and practical value of the research lies in the development of a comprehensive methodology for organizing extracurricular phytodesign work in higher education institutions and the possibility of integrating the developed program into the educational process to improve the quality of training specialists in the fields of floristics and phytodesign.
